Jody & April Dunning

It’s no secret that Jody and April love building homes. Building their first home in 1992, they developed a passion for creating beautiful homes. As they have grown their company, they strive to provide functional, energy efficient home plans in the very best communities. Classic Homes, LLC was the first Energy Star Builder in the Desoto County area and takes pride in providing families with not only beautiful but comfortable and energy efficient homes. It is not uncommon for Jody to get a text from a homeowner excited about their low utility bill.

Classic Homes is one of the very few builders in the area who build to EPA Energy Star standards for home energy efficiency. Your home will be inspected and tested by an independent company to assure these strict construction standards are met. We also employ contractors who use new technologies in the areas of heat and air systems, appliances, construction supplies, insulation, and floor coverings to add long term value to your home.

Where We Build

The Coves

Scheduled to open in the spring of 2019, this community features only 43 lots on one long cove. This community is located less than ½ mile north of Lewisburg Schools and will feature a lovely gazebo and a pond with a walking trail. Lot sizes will range between 1/3 to 1 acre with homes starting in the mid $300’s. Being in close proximity to Olive Branch and I-269, The Coves is conveniently located to all the amenities of North Mississippi, Collierville, Memphis International Airport, and downtown Memphis.

Villages of Hawks Crossing

Located adjacent to Lewisburg Schools, we are now building in the final phase that is west of Craft Road. This family-friendly neighborhood features a community pool, a stocked pond, sidewalks, and street lights. Your middle and high school students can walk to school via 2 sidewalks. With the opening of the I-269 interchange at Craft Road, you have excellent accessibility to all of DeSoto County, Mississippi, Shelby County, Tennessee and all other adjoining areas. Homes here will start in the low $300’s.
